The World as I see and feel it.

Commenting

I've moved the comment system to Disqus. So, now, you can use Twitter, Facebook, OpenID, and Yahoo to comment on the posts - apart from commenting anonymously.

To comment through Facebook, you'll need to authorize the application 'My Life' (the title of this blog) to access your information. This info would include stuff you've made available for 'everyone on Facebook' to view (on Facebook), and would not include your hidden/personal data, if any. [You can see for yourself what all info from your profile is visible to 'everyone', in your security settings. By default, it includes your name, profile picture, network(s), etc.]

Some of you may be worried that any comment you post here via 'Facebook connect' would appear on your wall and in your news feed. Well, I can assure you that it won't happen unless you yourself 'check' a box (located right below the comment form; the box will show when you comment via your Facebook/Twitter profile) allowing us to post the activity on your wall. By default - and I'm being repetitive here just to make the matter absolutely clear - your comment here will not show up on your wall. The same is applicable in the case of Twitter as well; meaning, any comment you post here via your Twitter account won't be posted as your status message until and unless you want so.

The comment policy is the same as earlier. I'll summarize it here:
1. Be courteous, reasonable, and responsible. Please don't be vulgar/offensive, etc.
2. Trolling is a strict no-no. Such comments, which spew hatred, will be deleted.
3. Although anonymous commenting is enabled, I'd appreciate it if you identify yourself. Please bear in mind that too many 'Anonymous' comments only make the comment thread more confusing.
4. Commenting anonymously would also require you to provide a valid e mail id. However, that id will not be published with your comment and would not be visible to anyone other than the admin (of the blog).
5. You can flag a comment which you find offensive. The admin will review it and take appropriate action asap.
6. The admin reserves the right to remove any comment and/or ban any user who's being abusive/non co-operative, etc.

Thank you for being patient and reading this. By commenting on this blog, you imply that you've read and understood all what is written above.

So, go ahead, join the discussion, post a comment on a blog-post! I hope you'll have a nice time here, and enjoy as much as I do, if not more!
